It was an early morning on the 09th of June, 2010 and at 6:30am my mobile rings. What the F...? Who's calling me this early? It is Douglas Cominski saying he and a couple of mates were 5 minutes from my place and about to swing by and pick me up for a surf because the swell looked really nice that morning. I got out of bed still half asleep but excited to go for a surf. So I started getting my things together, surfboard, fins, leg rope, video camera, tripod, batteries, all the stuff i would need for the surf session. I quickly made myself a sandwich and walked out the door eating it because the boys were already waiting out the front nuts to get in the water.
The drive to Lennox Head was full of expectations and all we could think of was "How is it?". It didn't take long to find out. After an hour drive we got to Lennox and from the round about we could see a lot of cars parked on the road. When we got to the place where we could see the waves it was beyond our expectations. Big long barreling perfect right handers all over the point. We all went crazy in the car! Wooooooohuuuullllll !!!!!
I surfed for around 2 hours and came back in stoked! Some really nice surf. Walking up the hill on the way back to the car, my mate Cebola could not stop talking about the wave where he got barreled twice and went al the way to the "little houses" at the end of the point.

On the way back home we checked a few spots but the wind was too strong and nowhere looked like Lennox Head that day so we just drove back to the Gold Coast listening to Cebola brag about his wave and the two barrels he caught!
