With a laidback atmosphere, Praia do Rosa has what it takes to please different kinds of surfers. The waves start working at less than 3ft and holds up to 10ft+.

Situated in the South of Brazil (South America), a Praia do Rosa (Pink's Beach) is a district of Imbituba and only 90 kms from Florianópolis, the capital of the State of Santa Catarina and it is a place where you can surf, party, or maybe do some ecotourism and whale watch or a romantic get away (and you still get to surf!!! ).

In the English dictionary, an "atoll" is defined as "a ring- shaped coral reef and small island, enclosing a lagoon and surrounded by open sea".
Maldives has 25 atolls, approximately 1190 islands and thousands of coral-reef shaped to offer perfect waves.

It's been well explored during the last years, building resorts and increasing the number of boat safaris and surfers, but it remains a totally friendly crowd.

One wave ride there sometimes can go for a few hundred meters easily, offering different sections for all sort of manouvers such as stand up barrels, airs, floaters, hacks, off the tops, cut backs and whatever else is in your wave attack repertoire. It's for sure one of the highest performance wave on the whole planet.

Situated in Coolangatta - Gold Coast - Australia, the Super Banks is formed by the connection of 3 distinct banks: Snapper Rocks, Rainbow Bay and Green Mount. On the good days the wave connects all 3 banks and sometimes on a big cyclone swell, it even connects to its famous neighbour, Kirra.

El Salvador - Central America Surf

El Salvador is situated in Central America between Honduras and Guatemala and neighboring countries of different is just bathed in the Pacific Ocean. The country's population is around 5.8 millions of people.
The Story of El Salvador was marked by a long period of civil war that began in 1980 and ended in 1992 with a peace agreement between the military dictators supported by the United States because they came in power over the years. Backed by the Soviet Union were 12 years of war that has generated a number approximately 60 000 people dead.
The Free Surfer Diego Belens Barreto it was in El Salvador in April of 2009 and below he will be telling us some of the things that marked the period when he was there and how are the waves and beaches.

Victoria - Torquay - Bells Beach

The origin of the name of the surf spot Bells Beach comes from when surfers could first access the surf break by vehicle, it was Martha Bell’s property through which they had to pass to get to surf the perfect waves.

Bells Beach is a righthand point break over a submerged reef known affectionately as the tombstone.

The waves are so long that is defined into three sections, from the Rincon point through the infamous Bells bowl to the Shore Break.

Niijima Island - Japan Surfing Spot Print E-mail

Habushiura Beach - Niijima Island - Japan

Niijima is a volcanic island in the Izu Islands - Japan, which offer some good free surfing sessions.

The islands are most well-known for its surfing potential in Japan and it can get pretty busy during the summer time attracting lots of japanese surfers. Some good shredders around the area!

The beach break at Niijima is rarely epic, but fairly consistent.

New wave discovered on the Maldives Print E-mail

Secret Maldives

Another world class right hander full of potential has been discovered in the Maldives by the Maldives Boat Trip Crew.

While cruising around the non-surfing route around the Maldives, the boat owner accidentally found this reef with never seen before waves breaking alone, unloading all their power on the reef one after the other.

As per email report, he says that the new new surf spot was showing some incredible potential even though it wasn't the high surfing season. He expects to see the reef on fire on next year season and he refuses to tell the location of the wave.

So, if you are keen to surf this new spot, he is the only one who can get you there.
